A few simple steps before your session make a real difference to your results and your comfort.
Full pre-care guide- 1Shave the treatment area 24–48 hours before your appointment — do not wax or pluck
- 2Avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for 2 weeks prior to treatment
- 3Come in with clean, product-free skin on the treatment area
- 4Avoid topical retinol or strong actives on the area for 48 hours before
- 5Let us know at booking about any medications — some affect light sensitivity
Aftercare
What to expect and how to care for your skin.
Laser hair removal has minimal downtime. Here’s how to protect the treated area afterward.
Full post-care guide- 1Avoid sun exposure on the treated area for at least 1 week — wear SPF if it's exposed
- 2Skip the gym and hot showers for 24 hours — heat can irritate freshly lasered skin
- 3You may notice some redness or warmth in the area — normal and resolves within hours
- 4Do not wax, pluck or use depilatory creams between sessions — shaving only
- 5Hair will fall out gradually over 2–3 weeks after each session — this is it working
